WHAT DATA WE KEEP
About your account: name, email address, contact phone and, if you provide it, company.
About your calls: number dialled, date, time, duration and cost. This is the call record and it is necessary to bill you correctly and to let you verify your usage.
About your payments: amount, date and method. For cryptocurrency payments we keep the generated deposit address and the network transaction.
We do NOT record the content of your calls.
WHAT WE USE IT FOR
To provide the service, bill it correctly, detect fraud and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data or share it for commercial purposes.
WHO IT IS SHARED WITH
With the telephone carriers through which your calls are routed, who need the originating and destination numbers to complete them. With competent authorities, where there is a valid legal requirement.
FOR HOW LONG
While your account is open we keep your data in order to provide the service.
When you close your account we delete your personal data — name, email, phone, address, company, caller ID and softphone credentials.
There are two things we cannot delete at that point, because the law requires us to retain them:
— Your call records — number dialled, date, duration and cost — for at least 18 months. This is required of any provider of telephone service by US telecommunications regulation (47 CFR 42.6).
— Your balance movements and payments, for 7 years, under accounting and tax rules.
Those records are kept WITHOUT the data that identifies you: they are calls and movements no longer tied to a person. Once those periods elapse, they are deleted.
We never keep the content of your calls: it is not recorded, during the life of the account or after.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can view and correct your data from your profile, and close your account from there without having to write to us.
You can also request a copy of your data by writing to support@voizly.io. We respond within 30 days.
Closing your account does not delete the records we are required to retain; the previous section explains which ones, why, and for how long.
SECURITY
Passwords are stored encrypted and never in plain text. Access to the platform travels encrypted. Even so, no system is invulnerable: if we detect an incident affecting your data, we will tell you.
